         CRP is an assistance program for eligible farmers and ranchers. It is funded by the Commodity Credit Corporation (CCC) to better the environment in a cost-effective manner.  Farmers will benefit by receiving payments for a multi-year CRP contract, and cost-sharing of the seed.  

• Reduces soil erosion
• Reduces sedimentation in streams and lakes
• Protects the nations ability to produce food and fiber
• Improves water quality
• Establishes wildlife and habitat
• Enhances forest and wetland resources
• Converts highly erodible cropland into vegetative cover

    For price quotes on CRP seed, send "Seeding/Planting Plan" form provided by the NRCS.  Please make sure to include your name, phone number, and acres needed before sending information.
